Background

In 1994, Orval transitioned from his work as a CPA in a public practice to take on the challenge of Practice Administrator for a healthcare ophthalmology clinic with one office and four ophthalmologists. Over the next twenty-nine years, he was instrumental in building the practice growth to include four offices, six ophthalmologists and five optometrists with a staff of 100 employees. Throughout his tenure, Orval led his staff and gained experience in the following areas. 

• Clinical operations of a multimillion-dollar clinic. 
• Optical eye wear retail operations
• Retirement plan services: 401k safe harbor, Cash balance plan and Profit sharing. 
• Project manager of multiple buildings construction and remodels. 
• Coordinated the purchase of retiring ophthalmologist practices.
• Instrumental in buildings and managing an ambulatory surgery center. 

There is nothing that Orval enjoys more than spending time with his wife of 44 years, Denise. During the summer, you will find them camping at the Oregon Dunes and riding their 4 wheelers down the beach. They also enjoy traveling to visit sights of the American Civil War.

The joy of their lives is their three adult children, spouses and their 5 grandchildren. Family is everything!
