Leadership Development Coach & Communication Strategist
Background & Mission
Allison’s Background
Allison Gilmore is a leadership development coach and communication consultant with a simple, deeply-held belief: how we lead and how we communicate shapes everything else. She’s passionate about building strong leaders and effective communicators, and helping people and organizations thrive from the inside out. With nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare leadership, team development, operations, and policy development, Allison has built a career around creating environments where individuals feel equipped and empowered to discover their potential, lean in with purpose, and rise, because she’s seen firsthand how a leader can build people up, or just as easily tear them down.
As part of Leadership Mindset Consulting, Allison partners with individuals and organizations to grow leaders who are situationally aware, strong communicators, who recognize the influence they carry, and who lead with intention and grace. Her work includes 1:1 coaching, communication workshops, and consulting on culture alignment, employee engagement, and emotional intelligence in the workplace. Her ELEVATE program brings this same passion to emerging leaders and early-career managers, meeting them at the exact moment when the right tools can change the whole trajectory of how they lead.
Allison meets individuals where they are and helps them move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Through coaching, she helps people uncover their strengths, overcome self-doubt, and align their lives with what brings meaning and fulfillment. In partnering with organizations, she helps strengthen communication, cultivate authentic leadership, and build connected, purpose-driven teams where people feel seen, valued, equipped, and empowered to succeed. This work isn’t just a career for Allison; it’s a calling. By equipping people with the tools to communicate authentically, collaborate effectively, and show up with confidence and purpose, she helps organizations thrive from the inside out, one leader, one ripple, at a time.
Before launching her coaching practice, Allison served in multiple leadership roles within the eye care industry, where she developed training programs, led departmental restructuring initiatives, and guided teams through organizational change. Her deep experience in people operations, onboarding, policy development, and compliance gives her a grounded, practical approach to leadership and growth.
At her core, Allison believes in standing in the gap for others: creating spaces where people can reconnect with their purpose, grow in confidence, and lead with empathy and intention.
