Background

With nearly 15 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology and optometry, Allison has had direct experience as a technician, optician and contact lens tech among other roles. In addition, Allison has been a practice manager for an OD practice, a clinical manager for an MD/OD practice, and a contact lens department manager in a large multi-location, multi-specialty MD/OD practice. Allison has a background in communication science, as well as both her MBA and Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) certification. She currently works as a Contact Lens Manager, Optician, and maintains the reputation management program for Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons, in Salem, Oregon. 

Allison loves being involved in the educational process and has written for publications such as Administrative Eyecare (AE) Magazine, developed continuing education courses for BSM Consulting, and presents at the annual ASOA/ASCRS conference.  Allison’s heart is to give others the tools and resources for professional and personal growth, empowering them to find success and fulfillment in their career and daily life. 

In her free time, Allison enjoys time with family and being an aunt.  She also has a 3-year-old lab that keeps her busy.  Allison loves her Tiny Home and the more simplified life that comes with it.
