Background & Mission
Allison’s Background
Allison Gilmore is a coach, consultant, and communication strategist passionate about helping people and organizations thrive from the inside out. With nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare leadership, team development, operations, and policy development, Allison has built a career around creating environments where individuals feel equipped and empowered to discover their potential, lean in with purpose, and rise.
As part of Leadership Mindset Consulting, Allison partners with individuals and organizations to cultivate self-awareness, strengthen communication, and develop confident, purpose-driven individuals. Her work includes 1:1 coaching, communication workshops, and consulting on culture alignment, employee engagement, and emotional intelligence in the workplace.
Allison meets individuals where they are and helps them move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Through coaching, she helps people uncover their strengths, overcome self-doubt, and align their lives with what brings meaning and fulfillment. In partnering with organizations, she helps strengthen communication, cultivate authentic leadership, and build connected, purpose-driven teams where people feel seen, valued, equipped, and empowered to succeed. By equipping people with the tools to communicate authentically, collaborate effectively, and show up with confidence and purpose, organizations begin to thrive from the inside out.
Before launching her coaching practice, Allison served in multiple leadership roles within the eye care industry, where she developed training programs, led departmental restructuring initiatives, and guided teams through organizational change. Her deep experience in people operations, onboarding, policy development, and compliance gives her a grounded, practical approach to leadership and growth.
At her core, Allison believes in standing in the gap for others: creating spaces where people can reconnect with their purpose, grow in confidence, and lead with empathy and intention.
Heart for the Everyday Person
You don’t need a rags-to-riches story.
You don’t need to be the best in the room.
You don’t need a fancy title.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You simply need to believe that your story matters.
So many people consider themselves “ordinary”, yet they often carry extraordinary, untapped potential. They simply haven’t been shown how to see it yet, or don’t believe it.
That is why Allison does this work.
Through individualized coaching and organizational consulting, she helps everyday people uncover the potential they have always had. Helping them find their voice, embrace their unique story, and discover that they too can live with purpose and make an impact, no matter their role in life.
When potential and impact is realized, a perspective shift occurs:
- Clarity replaces constant second guessing.
- Confidence feels grounded instead of forced.
- Decisions come from purpose, not pressure.
- People stop shrinking and start showing up fully.
It starts a ripple that changes our organizations, our communities, our families, and the next generation for the better.
